New to EastBook? This comprehensive guide walks you through everything from creating your account to launching your first trade operations.

Step 1: Create Your Organization

Foundation of Your Business Workspace

After signing up, you'll be automatically directed to the organization creation screen. Your organization is the central hub that contains all your business information and is essential for accessing EastBook's full functionality.

Step 2: Invite Team Members

Optional but Recommended for Team Collaboration

While EastBook works perfectly for individual users, inviting team members maximizes collaboration efficiency and streamlines your trade operations.

If the member is already registered with EastBook, you can invite them immediately.

How to Invite Members
  1. 1Request the member to sign up for EastBook
  2. 2Navigate to Settings > Member Management
  3. 3Click 'Invite Member' button in the top right
  4. 4Enter the member's registered EastBook email address
Inviting Non-Members

You can also invite members who are not yet registered with EastBook.

For non-registered users, an invitation email will be sent to the email address you entered.

When they click the 'Accept Invitation' button in the email, they will be directed to a password setup page.

After setting up their password, they can log in and start using the EastBook system.

To utilize EastBook's core features effectively, you'll need to configure your foundation data. Follow the recommended sequence below for optimal efficiency.

  • Bank Accounts - Manage your company and client banking details
  • Cash Accounts - Track cash flow transactions
  • Card Information - Register corporate and personal payment cards
5Port Information
Used for selecting ports of loading/discharge in trade documentation
6Location Information
Register physical locations such as warehouses, offices, and factories
7Document Templates
Pre-save frequently used phrases for trade documents to accelerate workflow
